Located in beautiful Marion County, the heart of Florida horse country, Congregation Beth Israel of Ocala is a liberal, progressive, inclusive congregation. For the first time in over thirty-five years a new congregation has been formed to meet the needs of the Jewish community of Ocala. We are starting our fourth year and are offering a fresh new approach to Judiasm. We have affiliated with the Reconstructionist movement because it offers a balance between tradition and modern, contemporary American life. We are proud to be affiliated members.
We have chosen the Etz Chaim, Tree of Life, as our logo to symbolize our willingness to grow and to accept others with open arms as we journey on our pathway to God.
Our mission is to provide an environment for the Jewish community of Ocala and the surrounding areas for worship, fellowship, and learning.
