Sisterhood

What fun we had designing our mezuzah cases at our last Sisterhood meeting! Wait to you see them! They will be for sale at the upcoming Jewish Festival in November. They come complete with the scroll in Hebrew, so be sure to get to our table quickly to buy one or two as they will sell fast.  We already have ffour of them sold!.

Annual dues remain a modest $10.00.

Remember: Our sisterhood is here for you. If you need help because of illness, call Jan Cohen (8616732) and she will get somebody to you.

Nina Adler (291-1534) is our ‘Sunshine Lady’ and she will send out cards for birthdays, anniversaries, sympathy, and get well.
Please contact her at the above number if you have an occasion for her to acknowledge.

Sisterhood co-presidents

Our November Sisterhood meeting featured holiday card making for our troops. Forty cards, decorated by our members with a thoughtful message to our service members who have sacrificed so much to keep our world safe, were sent out to be distributed by the Red Cross.  These cards will be going to veterans’ hospitals as well as to active service members to help bring a message of appreciation for the work they have and are doing.

Come join us and be welcomed as one of our sisters!

Our Judaica Shop

is now open. Judaica items will be displayed during our oneg after Services each month. You will be able to purchase from the items on display or order from our catalogs. There are many lovely things to choose from. Please see Janis Cohen, Lois Gherman, or Sonia Peterson for more information.
